Hello everyone!

Create a three (3) page website dedicated to Easter. Whatever Easter represents for you.

Please create something new and fresh - practice your skills! ;)

Rules:

* Your entry MUST contain your username anywhere on each of the pages
* Webpage design is strictly HTML and CSS only (with images)
* CSS is allowed of course and can be in a seperate file
* Please place images and CSS (if seperate from the html) in the same folder. In other words, ONE FOLDER FOR EVERYTHING.

You MUST also, after posting your entry, PM me a link to a .zip or .rar file with the .html doc and images so I can put them up on the server for the final votes (All work remains copyright of yourself).

Only one submission per user will be allowed.

You MUST have created the website yourself.

Any questions please ask in the thread. :D

Resolution: Please create with 1024x768 and 800x600 users in mind.
Max total file size (inc images): 500KB
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your piece - Entries not meeting critera will be notified by PM and given a couple of days to adjust it, but please get it right the first time) *poke*

Length: Competition closes Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 4:00 PM EST. Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

How so? I specifically said "Whatever Easter represents for you. " If you don't celebrate it, then you create a site about that.

yea, well not very inspiring, is it? i mean, what Mawlid means to you? :) would you be able to write anything about it without copying some other resources?
.. also implies that work will be judged on content as much as on design. maybe its just me, but i dont see writing as a part of design. you could provide content to be styled, like for example css zengarden do ;) anyways, dont mind me, just making exuses :p

yes id love to participate, and maybe i will in some next if not this one: all i wanted to hear is that design is what you are after, not...
but cant really fill 3 required pages with "it means nothing to me" or "who cares about other 2/3 of world" - which seams to be your attitude. im sorry, i didnt saw that wasp only sign in your 1st post

it is a Web Design Competition not a content competition.. so it is not the content that matters it is the design that will be voted for.

OK, enough conversation about it. It's Easter time like it or not. It's on the Calendar, and in some parts of the world it's a holiday.

A customer asks you to design a site for her. She tells you what she wants the site to be about and asks you if you want to design it. You either chose to design it or not. Simple as that. Whether you agree with the concept is moot. Do you want the job or don't you? You can accept it or refuse it. It's your choice.

No more debate on this. The competition is what it is. Any future debate replies on the subject of this competition will be removed. Let's get on with it.

When we post our entry, are we posting a link to the entry that has been uploaded to our own server? Or, are we posting that we have an entry, then pm you with the files?
Thanks

Along the lines of what flavah said, it's best that you put your images in an images directory and make the paths relative. Absolute psths will most likely become broken.
