I think you have not read the rules properly: Firstly it is mean to be a single page. And it has to be just HTML not CSS or XHTML as i see yours is. Sorry.

Apart from that it is a very nice entry! :)

Correct. Musik is on Holiday until the 8th when the competition expires, so she probably won't get back around to followup until the 9th.

BTW meep - Burnt_Raven has a point. Really, the "More" page is the only page that contains all the qualifying parts. It needs to be a single page and your more page qualifies.

Just do a quick redo of it and make that page your entry, and it will be fine.

Technically, it is just a single page - clicking on a tab just makes a certain <div> visible. Whether each tab is relevant to the competition is another story.

Yeah -- I saw that. I'll leave it to Musik for the final word. It is creative, none-the-less

That is why I asked if we could use JavaScript,

A few more questions :D

Can you use JavaScript? I am guessing no, but i'm not sure.
Can it be interactive, by using CSS and/or JavaScript to change/modify things, or does it need to be static?
Does it need to be a real animal? or can it be a fictitious one?

I asked the question about browsers because IE doesn't support some/most CSS well, like position:fixed, :before, :after, and ^/$/*/~ selectors.

You can use javascript if you wanted to I guess (now your getting too technical haha). It can be interactive, but it cant use flash etc, the whole point is to use your skill in html and or css to create a webpage.

The animal can be anything you want real or ficticious as long as its known as an animal (now your getting too technical again haha).

Also, If you turn JavaScript off it will work and function as a single page, It will even work with CSS off. And I also think it will work in FF and Opera correctly, IE almost correctly, and it should still work in other browsers.

hmm...theres gotta be a line there somewhere. I see navigation with 4 pages attached. If I were to place in layers, I could make loads of content without ever changing the address...where does it stop?
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Well, it's definitely a unique interpretation, however, I'm not certain it meets the intent of the rules for the competition. Like I said, when Musik gets back, since she runs the comp, we'll leave the qualifying up to her. Personally I'm impressed with the idea, but that's just me. meep, just to be safe, have an alternative ready that meets what I think is the intent. One page that immediately meets the requirements. In otherwords, not have to search around the different links for your poem inclusion.

With all that said, I like what you did. It took the idea a step beyond what I think we were expecting. So don't work too hard to change it. I think Musik may accept it since it technically qualifies. Very interesting approach, indeed.

But now it is just 4 pages! Just the Home page will do. I love it!

Hi folks! I am back from holiday and will get around to messaging you all to send me your entries asap. It may take a few days to get it all sorted out as we have a number of comps ending on the one day, but we'll get there so thanks in advance for your patience :D

I've decided to accept all entries, even though some don't kinda fit the criteria - its a new comp and I am really pleased with all the new entrants, this is the main objective of running the comps, so for this one I will be more lenient - but wait for the next one *evil laugh*
