Firefox and IE seem to the two mjor ones, but others do use Opera and others.

If you design it correctly you will find it will work in all of them, if you need some tips visit the web design section as there are plenty of posts on compatibility :D

A few more questions :D

Can you use JavaScript? I am guessing no, but i'm not sure.
Can it be interactive, by using CSS and/or JavaScript to change/modify things, or does it need to be static?
Does it need to be a real animal? or can it be a fictitious one?

I asked the question about browsers because IE doesn't support some/most CSS well, like position:fixed, :before, :after, and ^/$/*/~ selectors.

You can use javascript if you wanted to I guess (now your getting too technical haha). It can be interactive, but it cant use flash etc, the whole point is to use your skill in html and or css to create a webpage.

The animal can be anything you want real or ficticious as long as its known as an animal (now your getting too technical again haha).
