This template was made for Joomla 1.6 and has not been tested for Joomla 1.7. What that means is you will likely face a few problems if you try to use this on Joomla 1.7 and may require you to fix a few things to work correctly. You are more than welcome to use it on 1.7, just keep in mind that you may need to update things to get everything to work correctly.
If you decide to try that and you run into problems that you cannot fix on your own, we are also available at an additional charge to help you modify the template to get it all working correctly.

Once templates are finished and put in our system, no further updates are made to them. We only continue to create new templates. Since we have over 30,000+ templates at this time that I wrote this, it would take an enormous amount of resources to keep upgrading every template which would raise costs substantially for our products. Some customers also want templates for older versions too.
What I would recommend is for you to find one of our Joomla 2.5 templates that stand out to you, or you could purchase this template and then hire a freelancer or local web designer to upgrade the template for you at an additional charge to be able to work with Joomla 2.5 if you find that you are having problems.

Can you suggest some template similar to this one which works with 2.5? I'm interested in similar layout and features, i.e. picture and video galley. Most of the graphics will be replaced anyway. Thanks for the quick replay.

At this time we only have 28 total Joomla 2.5 templates shown at that last link I gave you. So just a couple pages worth to look over. I just took a look and the ones that immediately stood out to me (remember you can change pictures and content) were the Ohio Models Joomla Template, Defrozo Studio Joomla Template, Landscape Design Joomla Template, and Meridian Industrial Joomla template.
