You are absolutely welcome to change the images in the template. Parts of the template are in Flash, and other parts are using regular HTML and static images. So depending on what parts of the template you are wanting to change, it may require you to use different software. For the Flash parts it would require you to at least have an Adobe Flash 8 editor or greater, so any of the Adobe Flash CS software would be perfect if you have that.
The difference between the two prices is that the smaller price allows you to obtain the template, but it stays on the market for others to buy. If you buy it at the larger exclusive price, then the template is completely removed from the store after you make the purchase. That means that nobody else is able to obtain the template. This template does have four downloads as of this writing, those customers would still be able to keep the template though. So with that said if you do want an exclusive template I do recommend that customers find a template with zero downloads if they want to be the only ones with that design.
