i have this problem which i can understand that this software is vector based
but when ever you want to paste any fonts from any other page it does not accept it
i want to make a menu suppose then i need to type all the content which takes long time
any one knows how can i easily past the content from word document to Illustrator

You can copy and paste text from a word document into Illustrator, but you will more than likely need to reformat the text to whichever font it is you need. Remember you need to have the font installed on your machine for it to work.
