Hey there,

I have been using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for years now. I know my way around the program, all the tricks there are in it etc...

Just recently i been thinking if it was worth getting the newer version of photoshop. (Adobe Photoshop CS 9.0 i believe).

Is it worth me purchasing this product? Or should i stay where i am? If there isnt much of a different between both programs then let me know.

Thanks

Nem - check out the Adobe website. You can download a fully functional 30 day trial of CS2 and try it out. If you like it, you should be able to get an upgrade at a reduced price over the full product release.

Only you can decide whether it's worth you purchasing the product. For many people, it will offer not too many advantages over PS7. For many others it will provide HUGE advantages over PS7 (RAW support, etc).

So, you'll just have to download the trial, try it out, and determine if it's worth it for yourself. We can't tell you :)

I've been using 7 for a while myself, upgraded to CS(8.0) and am currently using it.
I couldn't bear with CS2 - much slower, menu changes, etc
