A while back i had a animated gif creator downloaded, i recovered my computer and forgot to save it to a disk before doing so.
Could someone please give me a link to a free animated gif creator that doesn't enbed their own image into it.
I have been searching on google for a while now, I give up.
Thanks.

You can create ani animated gifs with the gimp. Use multiple layers like the frames for the animation.

Suggestion...Get Adobe Photoshop if you don't have it...and use Adobe ImageReady to make your gifs. Best software IMO. Free stuff tends to have...quirks.

Hi AniQ, welcome to the site.

You seem to be having a similar problem to the one mentioned by dontcryoutx33 in this thread...

I wrote down a small tutorial for you if you want to follow how to create an animated gif using the photoshop program.

If you still have problems, let us know.

Okay. You need to create the animations in Imageready (as i'm sure you know). Once you are done and happy with the final product in Imageready you save the file using the "Save Optimised as". At the bottom of where you create the file name, there should be a drop down box. This box will automatically be default as "Images only (*.gif)".

If your box is not at that, click on it and drop down until you see it.

What version of Photoshop are you using?
