In Photoshop, how do I apply brush designs? Also, does anyone know of any websites where I can download brush designes that are stamped, messy, spray painted, or fadded?

Hmm.. messy, faded, splattered... you might like these grunge brushes. I got the link from Ozzu a couple (few? don't remember) days ago. To load a new set of brushes, just unzip the file(s) to your brushes directory. In Photoshop, select the Brush tool, click on the brush size drop-down menu in the toolbar, click on the right-pointing arrow in that menu, and select "Load Brushes." Select the *.abr file you saved and voila, new brushes.

Sure, you can go on the record saying that, but I certainly hope no one heeds your words. I'd like to think creativity isn't bound by trends. Any Photoshop brush, plugin, swatch, action is just a tool, yeh? How it's used is in the hands of the artist. I would hate to see artists limiting themselves with such narrow vision. I reckon one could start with a very recognisable type of brush and end up with a piece in which the style associated with that brush (namely, grunge) is nowhere to be found.

Jmo.
