Appz for tiling images

Do you guys know a good graphic application to do the stithcing of say 5,000 frames of aerial photographs? any recommendations? I appreciate it much coz am getting jerky on manually tiling these frames on photoshop....

What version of Photoshop do you have? Also what format are the images? I use Photoshop CS and CS2. The only automatic thing I can think of is File-->Automate-->Crop and Straighten Photos. But I don't know if thats what your looking for.
