Hey folks,

Just wanted to point you guys to a site I've just found, which I could (and probably will, over the weekend) spend hours on...

http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/clickmap/

I've found some stunning images there already, including Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand, surrounded by the snowcapped southern alps. Amazing stuff. Not to mention a fantastic source of custom desktop wallpaper!

Cheers,

That really is awesome. I found a great photo of Calgary and you can pick out everything, the parks, the communities, the major roads, even exactly where I live. It's hard to believe that came from 'space'. Makes we wonder how high up they were for those.

It dosnt appear to go as far in as i thought it would. Maybe it was the options i picked. It only shows the mountains around this area of Scotland from a very high altitude.

If you want some REALLY close-up pics, try this site:

...or...

Fewer cities, but more detail!
