Basic Sig TUT

1. Paste a Render into a blank canvas. I used size 380x130 pixels.
Also cut out as much background as possible.

2. Select the single column marqu tool, and click anywhere on the render. Then press Ctrl+c and then create a new layer and press Ctrl+v. Then press Ctrl+T and stretch it out across the cavnas like below.

3. Make about 3-4 new layers and on the first 2 use some grunge brushes, and make them dark.

4. Set those layers to hard light, and on the other two layers do the same thing and see if Hard Light or Soft Light or Overlay is what looks good.

5. With the lasso tool select the render and then go to select>inverse, then select>modify>feather and set that to about 5 pixels, and press delete.

6. Go to layer>new adjustment layer>Hue saturation, and change the middle one to around %50

7. Go to layer>new adjustment layer>color balance and move the nobs around until you find a good color. Then repeat this one or two more times.

8. Get the brushes out again, and on a new layer use the color white and randomy but them in the background where it looks good.


Then just add your name, and a border if you want, and you're done.

This is not some of my best work, But I put this together for people who are still learning.
