Best program to use to make sig etc

I want to learn how to make sigs,banners etc.

What is the best s/w to use and how do I go about making them,

adobe photoshop and macromedia fireworks.

but thats my opinion, many people have their own favourites, but these are the main ones which i use.

places like http://www.pixel2life.com and http://www.good-tutorials.com/ are some of the best tutorial sites.

so, if you want to get started, get an application of choice and follow tutorials, learn the ropes as one would say ;)

well, i use photoshop for brushing, and fireworks for any simpler tasks, like simple adding of text and vectoring.

nucleo ur spot on by using photoshiop i dont no about fireworks but yeh also that http://www.good-tutorials.com is also a great place for good freee stuff

I'm all for both programs. I seem to find that Photoshop does a better job on the graphics and Fireworks does a better job with text and sharp lines.

grr i dont rember in what forum i red it but is it possible to do an animated banner whit Adobephoto shop?

Animated banners can be made with ImageReady which is esentially part of Photoshop.

exactly rite ImageReady is wat you cna use. i got it with photoshop
