The best way is to experiment on your own.

But just google for tutorials. Books are a waste of money usually, but you CAN find some good ones.

tutorials to get your going, then start learning it on your own with
experimentation. Books are great for reference, rather than teaching.

I agree with unflux, if I can't come up with the solutiont through trying different methods, I'll go online and look for a tutorial, or look through a book.

A teachers belief in my school:

Never give advice because the person looking for it only wants to know they're right.

I don't think that fits in the scenario, but it is a good idea.

Yeah, but some say "Nuke the whales."

So much for scenarios..

Well if someone wanted to nuke the whales, and they REALLY wanted to, but were just seeing what other people thought, it wouldn't matter anyway. I was speaking along the lines of logical advice, like "do you think I should do this to my hair?"

Ah, so a question and not a statement? Anyways, logic and scenarios don't really go together.. A scenario can by fact or fiction while logic is just more or less the truth "common sense".. But, I see what you are saying.. I am just rambling on about nothing.. lol

I am a retard when it comes to learning on my own and just too lazy.. Like, Flash.. I can't bring myself to learn it on my own so I am going to to take a class..

The bad part about learning on your own is that you may do things the wrong way and get into a habit of doing it. But, like I said it all depends on the person too. Not everyone learns by doing something on there own and not everyone learns by taking a class.. Just, got to do how you learn best..
