Hey, the wife is looking for a nice, simple point and shoot camera.

Specs:
It must be P & S.
It must be 35mm.
It must be reliable.
It must be easy to use.
It must be $150 or less price range since we already have an olympus C-4040 and Yashica FX-D.

We're looking at the Canon Sure Shot 90U, but would appreciate opinions from you nice folk :)

Cheers, eh...

One thing I am never sure on, is that Advantax film stuff the same as 35mm, or a different category? (I know it's the same size ratio, just not sure if it is considered 35mm)

The Advantix system is pretty nice. My wife has had one for years. I never thought about wether it was film or not. The canister is never opened when it's processed. You get the canister back, as-was, instead of negatives. They use the same canister to make re-prints. I'm inlclined to think it's not film. don't know, really.

it's film, but the machine they use to develop it doesn't require it torn from the canister. I was just curious if it's considered 35mm...

i was led to believe advantix was somehow digital because for a while you could buy a "film" reader that you could hook up to your computer and view the pictures.
