hehe, looks like it will be funny. I wonder what kind of conversation will be going on between the fork and the slime. Let us know when you have your first toon made.

Will do. I drew up a lot of face sketches (to get looking direction right) during a two period lecture today...woo!

Depends how well I can warm up to F4L (Flash for linux). I might be doing frame cartoons for a while to get used to drawing the characters by hand, then move onto animation. As I said, I did a bunch of sketches during a lecture at school and will scan them in to show everyone, later tonight .

Rat: SodiPodi is a great free vector program, I'ts up to par with illustrator as far as I can tell. I am sure there are some negatives/drawbacks, but it is still a great program.

Nucleo: Yea the fork will be following the "japanime" form of facial expressions. I wont say whether I am being pro or anti anime, I really don't know myself, as I am split on the topic.
