Simple enough for pshop guru's anyone a tut on changing the text on a logo. I just tried but it ends up a different colour background to what it should so I did something wrong.

Last time I checked you cant change the font of a compressed image.

I mean you could erase the previous text with something like the healing brush or something, then make a new text

You could also download a trial of new photoshop cs2 which has a nice set of additional features. The most exciting out of them all is Vanishing point that just gets the job done perfectly. Take a look at what i mean. I'm pretty sure it would be helpful to erase the text in a way more efficient method than healing brush. Here is a link showing off this amazin new PS feature
