How can I easily set up for clients to upload their own images onto my real estate site. Its hosted and ftp.

I have read that it is really hard to do but does anyone know of a programme or code that will allow them to do this.

Many thanks in advance.

You might want to post this in the programming or website forum. This site might be able to help though.

Thanx origin, I have now posted there too.

Am I looking for something in particular, does or would it have a name or letters as in "asp" or anything?

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to do it in PHP. Even code it in .NET.

host their own images?

images of the property?

if thats the case, it wouldn't be too hard in php

you would have to set up a member system, to allow them the privileges to add images to their properties.

You dont even need a member system. Just a simple script allowing people to upload their images. PHP would be the easiest.

this is no hard thing to do at all.
only thing is, which allready were told, that anyone can upload. and in that way over spam your site if they know about it. that could be fixed with some login system, and that's where its getting harder.

you should then also make the folder where the images go so you cant browse it without a password. but can view images you know the url for.
