So this is for a university grade project on design and you are unable to get the concept art made or given something from the teacher?
And you want this artwork for free even tho under educational purposes. But honestly isn't this why you should do your own work and present it also if i was at uni i would be making friends with the other designers at the school for this reason. You do a favor for a student and they return it. like i act as a teacher in class and help others and then when i get stuck they put their hand up and say i can help you with that and sit down with me and run through the process.
But i still feel that if you get others to do half your work and you present something that is not yours but the next person they interview can do their own concepts and then create life in 3D. How is that going to look?
this is not being mean it is just a realistic view about someone getting the job they want and not getting it, the ability to stand out is to make yourself heard and impress the suits on the other side of the table.
food for thought

That's all completely understandable, but also arguable against. As a final project, most of the work relies on independent study and development, we have mentors, but they are only there to guide us. Also, every student has their own unique project, so it's not possible or feasible for the mentors to provide all of the students with what they need, it's such a diverse course and it would simply take far too much time!
I would have become friends with people taking more traditional artistic courses, but I live an hour from university, so I don't have as much flexibility when it comes to socialising. I know everybody on my course and we always help each other, but most are coders, not artists, sadly.
In addition, this isn't really half of the work, even a quick sketch by a talented person would be better to use than something I've slaved over for weeks, I'm sure! Worst case scenario, I have to do concept art myself, I'm completely fine with that. I'm just taking a chance to see if I could do better. And I can understand that there are people out there who can do concept work as well as 3D work, but sadly I'm not one of those people. I will devote myself to train in that field, but right now, I need to focus on the 3D aspect the most.
Thanks for the help though!
