sorry bout that. Tell me if this is ok. The quality may have been lost. If so let me know and Ill do it again, this time with a little better care, but I think this will work.

To keep some quality is really needed to decrease the size of the images (i made them under 7kb´s as you asked...but the rules say under 8 kb´s)

great sigs matey :D

what program are you using to create them? if you are using Photoshop you can use the Save for Web feature and play around with the settings and preview them in the preview pane to get them looking right.

Try saving as .gif and lower the colours to 128 or 64 (dependin on how much colour is in your image) - and as a .jpg and lower the quality right to the point where it gets pixelated and then take it up one more notch.

Not a problem, and what Musik said about making you image is exactly what I was going to suggest. If you can make a banner you can make it fit the requirements it just takes some fiddling with. There are numerous ways you can go about reducing file siaze while keeping as much of the quality as possible. Google for 'creating images for the web' and you should find some tutorials on how to reduce file size.

Thanks all, and yes I am using photoshop. I am about to play around with other images with the save for web feature and see if I get any good at condensing file sizes. Thanks again.
