Has anyone come across this before?

I've got a few items open in Photoshop CS3 but as i minimise the image to go and work on another one it seems to disappear completely from the screen so i can't restore it.

Having just closed one of the images down to see the complete Photoshop CS3 background it does show in the bar on the right that there is an image open but there is nothing for me to restore it.

Does anyone know what could be done to fix this? In the meantime, rather than me having to re-do what i've been working on does anyone know how i can get access to the other files i have already open in Photoshop?

check out the attachment to have an idea what i'm talking about.

Go to Window in the main menu. The images you have opened will be listed at the bottom. Select the one you want and it will restore it to full size.

Excellent.

That seems to select the other files okay, but the one i currently have opened (as seen in attachment) won't display as apparently it's already ticked and open.

As a temporary fix, not the fix i'd like i clicked on one of the others to enlarge it and then clicked on Windows and selected the engagement ring file i had open originally.

Any ideas on how to sort out this will be appreciated.

Thanks ATNO/TW for the help so far.

Unfortunately I use CS2, so have no means of duplicating your problem in CS3.

Does ctrl + tab bring it into view?

Actually it's hard to say now, but having done it (for the first time i might add) then that would have done the trick.

I never knew CTRL Tab did anything. I was aware ALT Tab you could alternate between programs in Software, but that's as far as i would have gone to experimenting.

Thanks Neksus, i'll keep that in mind when it happens again as it no doubt will.

Unless they changed it in CS3 the Tab button by itself will toggle hiding and unhiding your tool pallets. Makes it very handy when working with larger images.

It does that too in CS3. I don't think they've change Photoshop much from CS2, it's much and such the same. Some small changes, but for the better. I think they also focused more on including and amending some of the tools to enhance them.
