hi, ok I'm new here and this is my first post.
I have for a long time now had the idea to take photos of all the elements/objects in a dali painting and merging them to make an actual photographic version of it. Has anyone thought this and if so which painting make good candidates? Thanks for reading

I always liked his spindly-legged elephants, but it would take a bit of work to get the legs right. another favourite might be the Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate One Second Before Waking Up, this one is full of real-life objects and would not be too difficult to do (compare, say, this one)

at any rate I'd be curious to see what you do...........

you could make that tablecloth quite easily. I mean really physically make it, from paper, say.

plus you don't have to follow the image to the letter, you can always give yourself a little artistic freedom...
