Hi - Here's some of my artwork on Photoshop 7.0 (soon to be CS!) - My deviantart homepage

you shouldnt post images over 600 pixels wide.it messes up the sceen.

o sorry . your work is very good , how do make that affect . cdon (i think) makes work in that stlye . id love 2 learn how.

Sorry about the large image - I have linked it instead! Excuse that! :oops:

I'm very glad you liked this, it was my very first attempt with this 'style' and effect...

My technique with Thanatophobia was moslty layer work using 5 main elements:
- The skull (section starting at the nose upwards)
- The mouth
- The eye
- The prison bars and
- A texture overlaid.
I worked with hue and saturation to get the off-colouration and also brightness and contrast (intending to produce something quite dark and shadowed)...

There are many tutorials around - I did download a few when I was starting out but don't have them anymore. If you 'Browse' deviantart, there is a whole section of Photoshop tutorials, some excellent choices around too! Try those if you're interested! Hope that helps.
