I thought it was about time I got some new glass n' stuff. Ended up deciding on this one..

Nikon 300mm f/4 ED-IF AF-S

And while I was at it, I decided to pick up a new bag too...

Tamrac Cyberpack 6

along with a few other extras that attach to the bag..

Medium Lens Case
XL Lens case
Memory card/battery holder

Tamrac do an S.A.S. cellphone pouch too, but B&H don't have 'em :(

Anyways, I'll be sure to post up some good shots when the new lens gets here :)

Oooh sexy. I would love a backpack camera case - mine is the traditional bulky one, its so huge and awkward.

Nice work Axe, someone is paying you too much  ;)

I just compared the sale price in the UK compared to the US for the backpack, almost double the price!! I will keep that website in mind, when it comes near my birthday time ;)

Yeah, it's a nice backpack..

Right now I'm using a Tamrac Expedition 3, which is one of their smallest (if not the smallest) backpacks...

Tamrac Expedition 3

It's a nice lil backpack for light travelling. It holds the D100 with MB-D100 and 75-300mm lens attached, along with a flash, the 50mm f/1.8 AF-D, the 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 AF-D, my 40Gig DigiBin, a couple of spare batteries, an an extra filter or two, but there's no way it'll fit the new lens.

I've wanted a photo backpack that could also carry a laptop for a while now, and the cyberpack 6 will do that too

Ooo I like that one much better it would perfectly hold my camera and 3 lens. I will check the prices on that one too.

I have a backpack for laptop, its pretty hand although I have only used it once

So that other one carries a laptop too!? Nice one.

I'm gonna go look up that smaller one now :)

Yeah, the Expedition 3's a cute lil backpack... doesn't weigh you down too much, even with 10lb+ of photo gear in it. The straps hold it just nicely that you don't feel it so much, it doesn't hang down off you like some do. So, much easier on the back :)

The Expedition 3's real cheap. I think I picked mine up for about 40 bucks + shipping on eBay.

I just found this one, luckily it would be cheaper to get this one here because they dont charge for delivery for this one

its kinda the same but a bit smaller i think - Like I said I only have the camera and 3 different lens and all my bits and peices to go in the front bit.

Nice one. You just inspired my present LOL.

I like that its small good for when I go hiking/camping etc. Like I said the one I have now is a good one but its square and bulky to carry, and heavy on the shoulder after a while :)

Yeah, that looks quite nice. The Expedition 3 spent 6hrs cycling through Myakka with me a month or so ago and even at the end of the day, I could barely feel the weight of the bag.

That bag has very similar, but just slightly different, dimensions to the E3, so it should suit you just fine :)
