I have a picture that I would like to use. BUT there are words on the picture that aren't in my interests. Is there a way I can take out the words and have a high quality picture at hand?

If you're trying to remove a copyright notice or watermark, please don't ask.

I agree!

But if you have an ex girlfriend to remove, I can help ya there.

The main question is: What is behind the words you want to remove? If its a simple solid background then this is easy to do. But if the words are going across someones face for example, you have to copy pieces of the background and paste them over what you want removed - but you have to do it in a way that keeps the background continuous, because when the words are gone, all you have left is whatever you copied over them. If you simply highlight a square box near the words, copy and paste on top of them, it will be obvious. Thankfully in most photo editing software there is the "duplicate" tool that helps you do this. What software are you using?
