i entered a competition between friends to make the best desktop background, now i came up with this by using fireworks, it is composed from dif peoples desktop themes, (i only use it for my use) let me know what u think and how i can improve it

i only posted it on here because i think it turned out pretty well, considering i did majority of it myself

It looks pretty good, not high enough resolution to be considered a desktop picture on my computer, but good nonetheless. There seems to be alot going on in the picture. Is that an eyball of a cat in the top left corner?

*lol -- I think he's gonna be "hurt" by that "eyeball" question BWM -- it's a "dragon's" eye ---

I love fantasy and can recognize a dragon's eye when I see one *grins

I doubt I'd ever use it -- but I like dragons and thought the composition and concept was good.

And unlike you (BWM) I've tried -- but I just have too much of a hard time reading resolutions higher than 1024x768 -- darn bifocals work like a champ -- but that stuff is just too small for continuous work day in and out.

my biggest concern with this is not the items in the composition, but
rather your choice of sizes. They are all big, and not much variation to
make it interesting. It's got a crammed and cluttered look to it, IMO
because of it.

In terms of the blending, I think you did a good job. And yes, a higher
res version would be better suited for a desktop, even for smaller sized
screens. Pretty good overall, but I probably wouldn't use it.

thanks for your opinion, i designed it at 1024*768, because i would have to say that most ppl use that res, but, if u want a bigger 1 i could make 1. and yes that is a dragons eye...(with a nice windows sign glistening in it ;) )

Link is cut, can't see it. Could you put up another link to it? That way, I can say what I think about it. Sounds cool though. :D
