Just a newbie around here. My interests are both vector and raster photorealistic illustrations of scenes and objects. Digital painting of a Clematis flower. 20"x 16", referenced from my own yard.

That is superbly done. I wouldn't have known that wasn't a photo.

You painted this?
I can smell some Photoshop filters in this paint.

Thanks for having a look and commenting ATNO/TW and ibrabdo. It's not a photo, nor do I use Photoshop or filters in my work ibrabdo. The layout and colour blocking are done in vectors (Xara Xtreme) and the paint software I use is a small program by Ulead called GIF 5 Annimator. Thanks again for having a look.

I'm familiar with Ulead products. however be careful not to over promote Xara Xtreme or we might deem it as spam. But for the record, what you are doing works nicely.

Sorry ATNO/TW, no spam intended. I was just responding to ibrabdo's comment that I used Photoshop filters. I'll leave any software names out in future.
