Nope…it is also with flat scanned sheet of paper or just small posters or stuff

I guess that what I mean is caused by the print it self. For big print the usually expand the pixels to make it bigger right? Someone told me that in Photoshop was a filter that it could help a bit, but I can’t remember…

Oh right. So it's the quality of the printing that is the problem?

mmm…I don’t know how to explain it….
Could you edit that picture and post it? Then maybe I could see if you have corrected that what I mean :)

I'd love to, but I'm not quite sure what it is that needs touching up.

Perhaps an idea would be to PM a Mod, asking them to move this topic to the Digital Art Forum, explaining that you posted it in the wrong place. If it was in the Digital Art Forum, then you might have more look. I don't do a lot of work with scanning and photographs, but I'm sure there are people on Ozzu who do, and who would be much more help to you than me.

Captain I think you hit it on the head there.

the magazine was uneven when the picture was scanned. the weight of the magazine and the top of the scanner was not heighy enough to place it flat for the scanner to pick up a clean image. he has a high resolution scanner and with the hills and valleys that are created when the scan is done creates the color shift from the lights being the hills and the darks being the valleys. One way to correct this is to remove the picture from the magazine and place a biochemisrty book on it ( why biochemistry is because I dont think they have ever made one of these books that is not twice as thick as the bible LOL) and then leave the scanner top open and you should get a better scan. Try this and repost the scan so we can see if that made the difference. it makes it alot easier when you post the picture to help solve the problem.
