Like I said, I got to about 24-36" away from the head for some of those photos, because I only had an 80mm lens. When I get the 75-300, I'll be able to get some super close-up shots from a bit further away

You know what would be really cool? If you could rig up a small panaramic camera to strap to the back of whatever she eats, of course removing it once she has her mouth full
