exporting text in templates to htm

Hi!

I’ve seen templates of sites with the text content in the design, how do they export the design to htm so the site content isn’t exported as image (so you can select the text when surfing to the htm template)?

Generally the template is coded and the text added afterwards.

For instance....if you the site was deisnged in Photoshop, hide the text layers and cut the design in ImageReady. The code tends to be not XHTML compliant, and the pages can be quite large but that's fixed easily enough in Dreamweaver.

Anyway...slice the design making sure to cut the areas that the text will go into..then in your favorite HTML editor set the text areas as TD backgrounds and insert your text.

Just one simple way to do it.
