I was experimenting with The Gimp this morning (3:20 AM) and decided to make a dekstop background. Its 1024 X 768. It actually isnt too bad :)

I've been wanting to get Gimp. But my Graphics days are over :(

I'm liking these glowing dots lol. The first one doesn't have enough depth, contrast. It's too dull in my opinion. But the spiral desktop background is 5 times better!

I agree with remon there the spiral is way better than the plan one. PS CS2 has a few cool brushes that do things like grass and stars that I think you can make your own but I have not tried yet no time right now.
