No offense...but that's not the greatest...

...all your doing is using filters and creating effects....just colour...

....use or create actual objects, atleast not just a combination of colours...anybody can do that...

....i'm a n00b too, but i don't do that stuff....

Agreed, but lets not scare him off. That was why I kind of regret my last post. I want to see more of his stuff. As he gets better, Im sure that he will begin experimenting with more complex things as well. Experimenting with filters was one of the first things I did when I started using PS. Lets give him a little slack and wait for some more goodies. :)

Seriously, Everyone plays with filters when they start using Photoshop. Photoshop is a tool, and like any other tool, it takes time to master. I have been using Photoshop since version 2.5, and there are a LOT of features that I have never used. Not because I don't need them, but because I have never taken the time to learn them (because I'm stubborn and set in my ways :P ).
These are his(or her) first ventures into digital art, and as such, they show potential.
Those of us who have done digital art or photo manipulation for a while did this kind of stuff when we started, and we have seen it from virtually everyone else who started after us. It's a natural progression. Don't be discouraging because they came after you.
