font please

does any one have this font "Modified Gothic"

If yes than please give me that font.

i have searched google also, all url i am getting is paid. And just for one client i can't buy this font.

If any one of u already have this font please give, i'll be very thankful to you.

I'm not exactly sure how copyrights and what not apply to fonts, but I'm fairly sure that, if you want to use Modified Gothic, you've got to purchase it. It's designed by the Linotype Design Studio, and you can purchase it directly from them for 24 USD, which really isn't a bad price at all, considering the prices some fonts out there go for.

To the extent of my knowledge, fonts are not public domain, but aren't completely protected either, so you probably could find it out there somewhere, or get someone to give it to you, and no one would ever be the wiser - but doing so denies the font designer (after all, somebody designed it) his (or her or their or whatever) due.

I'd recommend springing the 24 bucks - it isn't really that much - and getting it the old fashioned way, or going without the font. Not much help, I know, but it's my two cents.

If it's only for the one client, then simply add the $24 to the cost of the site. No-brainer.

1. asking for $24 extra.
2. or asking to replace font with some other font.
