Im currently making my own short little animated music vid as well. I am also involved in music development now etc.

This is just a low poly white room enviroment i have created. I have supplied a wire just to show how low poly it really is. It took about 4 hours due to the restricted amount of polygons i had to play with.

I still have to start building up some high poly andriod characters now. I shall show off the completed animation when it is finished.

This is the room preview:

Cool 5-0. Looks like it's coming along nicely. Lighting looks good. Looks like you're getting a lil weirdness in the polygons on the door.

Are you going with textures for the walls and floor, or are you just going with white?

I am going for the futuristic approach so its gonna be pretty minimalist, so no textures.

I used nurbs techniques to model this scene so it will look different to most people sds meshes you are used to seeing.

Yeah its nothing to amazing. I am keeping this enviroment simple so the main focal point can be on the andriods. Yeah im working hard developing some music, which is slow but kinda experimental, just imagine massive attacks tear drop song.

are you using radiosity in that? I tried to get some neon effects for radiosity a few days ago and I couldn't get it right. But I didn't take too much time on it. the radiosity I had set appeared to be effecting all lights, and not the object that I wanted to emit light.

I am using realsoft 4.2 for the modelling.

There is no radiosity in this scene. It is all just simple old raytracing. In realsoft there is a feature for the light to project materials. The lights are projecting fog so it makes it looks as if it is glowing.

Thanks for the comments,

I have had conjunctivitis for the past week so i hav'n't been very active.

looks good! The railing is particularly well done, however why did you remove the glow from the lights? I liked it better with them glowing. Ah well your pic :D Good luck with your project!!
