help for a noob

I am looking to make one of my pictures look like a comic book drawing. I have photoshop 7.0. Any help would be great! Thanks from the noob.

There is only so much you can do in Photoshop to make something look like a Comic Book Drawing. I suggest you go to "Filter" then "Filter Gallery" in Photoshop and have a look at some of the effects available. I think some of these might help provide the effect you are looking for.

To make something really look like a comic book drawing it can't be done with mere filters or even with PS. It takes a combitnation of both Photoshop and Illustrator ( or any vector based software you have at your disposal), you will also need a lil bit of skill as you will need to do some painting to had comic like highlights and such.

Hmmm, guess I will have to make a tutorial or this.
