how can i tint a piture on photoshop? i have alot of pictures to edit and i am new with photoshop can somebody put me through please

Tint? you mean darken the picture?

If so then on Photoshop Imageready click on Image>Adjustments>Britness/Contrast and adjust the contrast to something like -30 (or -45). It should show you what your image looks like.

Not sure if thats what you want, you should maybe be more specific.

What i meant is tinting an already black & white picture to a gold like colour. I am waiting for your reply

you can use Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation

I ma grateful for ur help, i indeed find it helpful. One more thing that i need to know is, how can i make a sketch(outline drawing) out of my B & W picture.

If you go to Filter>Sketch>(whichever option).

You can do various types of Sketches. I am not sure how to do what you are asking, although maybe one of these options will help. I havnt got much time to fiddle about with that.
