I was wondering how could I make my face look like if it was half shadowed.. you know like if half of my face was in the light and the other in the Dark.. in any case here is an example:

Look at the face of Arnold... that effect that It has .. something close to dat is what Im talking about.

That wouldn't be too difficult.

Some of the things I might experiment with are:
Airbrush (Depends on the source picture as to how much you're going to need to paint)
Brightness and Contrast/Hue and Saturation
Layer Blending Modes
Channels

I really think all you need to do is get in there and experiment and see what you come up with.

Can you show us the picture of your thinking of using?

Yup, or you can just start off with new layer with a gradient on it, black to transparent. Alter the transparency of the layer, smush a pixel here, a smudge there :)

dM already got that whole terminator thing goin' on... Except, the lenses in his shades ain't shadey (and you need red eyes dM) ;)

you might want to just grab a new layer gradien on it and set blend mode in layer options to overlay. then a little brush here and some smudge there and you got it .

lol you guys are making it too hard, just open the image, then go to filter>render>lighting-effects
that will make a shadow.
