I have PS and have been playing around with the warp tool but i can't seem to get the effect i am after.

What i want is to make text go round a circle but the warp tool isn't doing the trick for me or i am using the wrong tool for the job.
Just think of a circle and an text that goes round with the circle...i just want to bend the text round but i have no idea how to do this.
Searches that i do refer to the warp tool but this is not working for me, either the tool isn't good enough for it because it can't bend the text far enough or otherwise i am totally oblivious how to use the tool.

Probably the latter one.
If anyone know how to do this and willing to share their expiriences, then please do.

See ya guys

If you are using CS or CS2 you can type on a path. Just use the pen tool and make the path however you want it and then select the type tool and click on the path you just made. I hope this answers your question.

That didn't work for me, probably because i am doing something wrong but i would really appreciate a step by step explanation otherwise it's only half work when explaining something to someone.

First select the pen tool and make your path however you want it.

Then while on the same layer select the type tool. Hover over the path you just made until you see a squiggled line under the T on your cursor. Click and then type the text you want.

Thats about it. Clck on another layer other than the text layer to see what it looks like without seeing the paths.

I hope this answers your question or at least helps you in some way. Don't forget that you need at least CS to do this.

There´s another way if you want to make it round...
You can do it with polar coordinates (/me searching for the tutorial)

Found it:) :
