Allrighty then. I've tweaked the logo part a little bit because it looked a bit plain. And came up with this! Is it too much?

mmm that looks good too, where you have outlined the logo in that aqua colour, with your colour picker in PS or whatever you using and pick out that darker blue colour from the background (the middle about the S&A in SAPID).

I think that would be cool :)

Like so?? Erm..that's not much of a change is it? I don't seem to be able to use that color and make it visible at all because it blends in too much with the already-in-use background.

See the aqua lines around the STS logo? Instead of using that aquamarine coloured blue, use the same blue you have in the dark patch in the middle of the background image.

It would blend in a lot better.

I like the concept though. That cut out looks awesome :)

That's with using color #315476, the darker blue in the little upside down-ice cream top thingy and in the Outer Glow blending option in photoshop.

I know it doesn't look like the color but that's the outer glow function gives me so I must listen to it because I know of no other way to achieve the effect.

It looks better now without the aqua blue. I'd say that is now a finished peice of artwork my friend :D

It always seems that some people have trouble accessing my server (which happens to be my computer). Does anyone know of a free image service that I could use to make it visible to everyone?

for colors, #2 is best. the logo is ok, i guess. maybe try to
come up with some variations on it. Font choices are ok, clean
and easy to read. Overall, I think the first one is best. I'm
diggin' the pixellation.
