July 4 Pics

Here's a few I took over the weekend. I really love the ones of my
daughter playing in the hose in particular. She was having a blast.

Yes your daughter does look quite elated One thing you could try doing with your macro shots is offcentering the topic a little. I dont know if you know the rule of thirds, but if you dont let me know and I will explain it to you.

I remember learning the rule of thirds in my black and white photography class in college

Nice pictures Unflux, I think the ant one is kind of cool. I like how crisp the image is.

yeah i know the rule as well, but with the ant I was just trying to get him
to stand still for 2 seconds! this is what i got. The flower was just cuz,
and the skull was too good of a composition all by itself to worry about
all that. I will be more creative from now on before I post.

Also, these are totally different pics and post btw. youaren't going crazy.

oooh ic, they were all good shots, and yes the skull had very good composition. Just the ant and the flower, and I can understand the ant, i've tried chasing bugs for macro shots before...Not fun!
