Well the scan line effect can be useful. For example if you are trying to create an image as seen through night vision, you might want to add that scan line effect to your picture to make it look more interesting.

why did you change the subject of your original post? Now my replies
don't match the subject.

Also, your link to the tutorial page is broken.

Atleast he changed the copywrite....it would have been funny if he didn't though.

You're plagiarizing peoples work! You have to give people credit for what they do, you can not just go steal scripts, examples, and tutorials from people without giving them credit. You could be prosucted under international copyright laws if you do not stop stealing, or start giving credit for what you do.

And as for being forced to put your name on "this bloody work" you are actually forced the opposite way underneath international copyright laws, stating that you must cite your sources.

I've lost my respect.

If you want to share the usefulness of tutorials, you post a link to the original tutorial, you don't copy it, put it on your site and say "hey check this out!". Given that you do not supply the original source of the tutorial, and that the tutorial is hosted on your server, it is automatically assumed the tutorial was written by you. And that is illegal. You must cite where you got the tutorial from, but better yet (and easier for you), you could have saved yourself the trouble of copying the tutorial by just posting a link to the original tutorial!
