Took about 16 hours to do this, but if anyone would like it for a wallpaper, feel free.

(Sorry I couldn't do any resolutions higher than 1280x960 -- I haven't registered the program yet and that's the max res until I do. And I will. I love this program!)

It is fun UNFLUX -- if nothing else -- just something different to do -- digitally.

//It is freeware - http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/

although to take advantage of the extra options registration is necesary.

Ooooh the advanced anti-aliasing is a registered-only feature?

Just you wait, you think you're impressed now? :mrgreen:

It's relatively easy to use vladracc... but I'm sure you saw my post...it took close to 16 hours to render that photo the way it appears now (much depends on your processor and RAM). I had to play with atmosphere, lighting, clouds, shadows, water and surface map settings before I got it the way I wanted it to look (also the zoom..that's why the water seems to look a bit cut off --like "the end of the world" as UNFLUX said) --but best I could do to get the fulll picture like I wanted. . The cool part about the program is that you can get fairly nice renderings on the first try, but to do an outstanding look takes some study and experimentation like anything else.
