First of all I outlined it using Artrage and then I filled in the details with photoshop using a variety of brushes and even a chalk brush. I love black and white with a hint of color too so I made the lips the color of her lipstick. I used layers, and in some parts I blurred it a little bit to make it look more blended and I also used the smudge brush and the blur brush.

The only thing I'm not happy with are her ear rings.

Is Artrage some sort of tracing program?

you can use it like that or you can have it up as a ref

Not being funny but do you really think I traced all that!? (am I being a bit sensitive) I draw and paint both traditionally and digitally I draw a very thin out line but I can do it without, I also use art rage as a ref because my strong point is sketching traditionally.

I have videos of me doing it on youtube but can't add any links :(

oic atm I am in the would be spammers category I can understand that considering I've been on forums where a spammer has come on and left those sex ones. It can be very annoying...

Thanks for the compliment :)

Yes, I believe this is a trace job. You have a lot of hard contour lines very reminiscent of a trace. As a traditional sketch artist my self I wonder why you did not blend them out. Nice coloring job though. :)

like I said I made a thin outline the rest was added so I don't know what you mean, I done most on photoshop maybe it's because I went over the thin lines but no way were they like that I'll show you another and tell me your thoughts please

The reason I made Marilyn Monroe like that is because I'm trying to make tubes but never seem good enough

Yes, see, vast difference between a sketch and a trace. ;) I like the JB better. Nice job. I think you'd do a lot better to remove the hard outlines though.

A true artist would I think. But with the hard outlines are you referring to MM or JB? see with JB I don't like his neck or his hair so I am improving on those things.

Thank you for the compliment btw

I'm not an expert in the field but I would also say that I like the JustinBieber one a little bit more. Personally I liked how you did his hair but its your call ofc to remake it if you want to do that.
