A new website logo(s). Which one do you like better and how good is it? Critique and criticism appreciated.

I like the top one...

Although, one thing I might try (not recommending it, I just wanna see how it looks, lol)...

the M on the lil circle doohicky, try making it look like it's carved in instead of raised up. Basically, where the highlight is light, make it dark, where the highlight is dark, make it light. And maybe not quite so thick, drop it down a pixel if you can (I'm guessing you used the inner bevel filter layer style for this if you used photoshop?)

But give that a try and let's just see how it looks :)

You know what I didn't notice the first time either... I knew there was something, but couldn't quite put my finger on it...

You know how you've got a lil drop shadow on the bottom one on the circle thingemy?

Try like I said before with the M, but put that lil hint of a drop shadow on there to, make it look like it's realy floating up there.

Oh yeah, I like that... now just try the drop shadow with it, like on the bottom image in the first post.

That's different :)

But meant the actual circle looked like it had a drop shadow...

On the very first post...

the top image is just a white border all around...

The bottom image has a little drop shadow below the white border, making it look like light is shining from the upper left a lil bit, which will really enhance the lil engraved M.

Well, you go with which you think, but out of all the ones up, I like the one I just posted with the drop shadow on the circle, and the last one you posted with the shadow on the M (but I still think it needs the shadow on the whole circle too).

We all like different things, and there's always going to be things people disagree on with regards to looks :)

They're all pretty good though. It's a good concept that you went with, with a nice clearly defined background and easy-to-read text on top of it.

I think the "circle doohicky" should be just as boldly outlined as the rest of the text, with the solid, not diffused white border. Other then that looks pretty cool!
