I am working on a tutorial on my G4 Titanium laptop. I am at a point were it askes to move the Pivot Point. All references I have looked up including the tutorial use the insert(pc) or home(Mac). My problem is the laptops don't have a home key. I've been through all the menus and don't see a manual way to do this.

Can anyone tell me if there is another way to change the Pivot Point?

or tell me how to use/create a Mel script to accomplish this....

This is how i would move a pivot in maya.

Say for example you have a cube, right click on the (what ever your model is called) cube and select the Pcube1
Then the attribute editor should appear.

Then you should see an option 'Pivots', and adjust the pivot as needed.
