I am finally at the half way mark on the Xavier Nights: Monster City comic pitch I am penciling for Paul Deberry. I did a real quick ink up of one of the main panels on the page. Keep in mind this is just a small portion of the panel and that other panels are cutting off the lower left corner, but I think it came out o.k. What ya think? In the next couple weeks I am going to post more images and complete pages of the pitch at www.gutterflycomix.com in the sketchbook and I'll also be posting regular sketchbook updates again too. Lemme know what ya think and thanks.

I am a sucker for black and white shadowy artwork...very impressive
That gave me some ideas I want to try out, except I think I am going to use a photo I have as a background layer and trace over it
