I need help with Image Ready

Hello,

When finishing an Image Ready animation, sometime I do not get the option to save as a GIF. It will only allow me to save as a JPG. I have no idea why this is.

Can someone help me?

Firstly, what version of Photoshop are you using? and how are you going about saving the file?

PhotoShop 7.0

When I save the animation art in PhotoShop, I save it as a PSD in RGB color mode.

Hi,
I had this exact problem the other day, but can't remember how to fix it! You have to do something on the right of the screen, where you change the format to save in from JPG to GIF. That fixes it.
I'm sure I used one of the boxes to the right of the screen...

Even though it wasn't on the right side of the screen, it is in the "Optimize" tool palette which I didn't have shown.
