Need to make a logo

I need to make a logo for my business plan

I just want a simple logo with text over a two color oval.

I tried it in paint, but I'm not familiar with the program

any help is welcome.

Don't use paint. Actually, NEVER use paint for logos for anything.

If you have got it then i suggest using software like Adobe Photoshop. You can do so much with Photoshop and things will look alot smoother than you will get on Paint.

If its a simple logo I would suggest downloading the free open source program gimp

Most of them are pretty easy to follow, even for someone with no graphical app experience


but i agree with SB...photoshop is the ultimate. But if your just wanting some quick graphics go with gimp

thanx, I do have photo shop - I thought it was for photos because it would load every time I used my thumbdrive to show me power point slides from school.
I'll give it a try. If I run into problems I'll provide a link.

You might be better off using a vector tool rather than Photoshop if you're planning to print the logo, like http://www.inkscape.org/

you can buy a logo, or try to post a project on some freelance websites
