Hello all,

I am in need of a poster template with bleed, cut, and safe guides. I would rather have one in Photoshop first, next AI, last one in InDesign. The poster size needs to be H: 27 x W: 17 or a size as close to that as can be.

or

If there is a post on here or a tutorial on how to set-up my own guides then please direct me.

or

Could someone simply tell me how?

Thank you,

Well this describes the Bleed Trim and Safety Zone.

Bleed is typically 1/8th inch to 1/4 inch larger than the page. So you should set your document size to at least 27 1/8 x 17 1/8.

Trim is usually determined by the printer, but generally speaking it is the document size. I would suggest checking with them to be sure. Then after you have the trim area you can determine your safety zone.
