I thought this made for a cool subject, and gave it a try. I decided to
shoot it in a series, once I saw the coloring was so good between the
different shots. Comments are welcome.

I like it, the different angles you shot at give the picture great perspective.

Nice job Unflux. I like the first three shots, but the last one (bottom right) even with the different color/side it seems to have a close enough angle to the third one (bottom left) to appear to "match". Nice job though, very cool concept!

And Lynx, please watch your language, keep it PG13.

Nice photos... Which camera did you use? Was it a Digital SLR or a point-n'-shoot?

Personally, I've found that most of the point-n'-shoots just can not focus that closely, even if they do have a macro button although there are some exceptions out there (the Coolpix 4500, for example, does a pretty nice job).

That's why I'm going for the Nikon D100 myself. I've got a Nikon N90s 35mm SLR, so I'll be able to reuse all my lenses, flash, etc.
